The artistic process
Art endures growing pains just like everything else in life. Some stages are better than others, but that ugly phase can be rough. Just ask Morgan about the 6th grade. It’s easy to get discouraged when the finish line is out of sight, out of reach, and you’re just spinning your wheels.
We all have those days, and art definitely has those days, when your heart and your head and your hands just won’t get on the same page. So the next time you feel like nothing is going your way, know that you’re simply in a ugly phase. You won’t see it in the heat of the moment but eventually you’ll look back and notice that slowly each stroke, each shadow, each shade, each line culminated into one awesome piece.
